With more and more people moving to Pinellas County, we need to make an extra effort to stay safe on our roads. One of the things that we can do is to look for kids: that can be playgrounds, that can be parks, or schools, or even where a bus is dropping off children. Be on the lookout, because kids don’t always use crosswalks. We want to avoid any accidents that involve a child.
Another thing that you can do regarding those crosswalks is to look both ways, Anytime that you see a crosswalk, often people that are using a crosswalk won’t stop, so we need to make sure that as drivers on the roads of Pinellas County that we are stopping and are always vigilant and on the lookout for other people.
